The Last Crop
Every day I walk a path around the garden and I've been amazed at the hardiness of the kale that was planted last spring. I finally picked it and we'll use it in soups, stews and stir fry. It's another subtle sign of the changing weather patterns, to harvest a crop in early January in northern Wisconsin - very strange!
